PR Sample

Spring is almost here, the days are sunnier, there are flowers popping up all over the common outside my house and I am starting to shed my chunky winter jumpers in favour of some less bulky clothing. With the onset of spring, the colour palette also shifts from deep tones to pastels and although I tend to wear whatever colour I feel like on my nails all the time, I am loving the dusky pastel shades of this year.

Collection Cosmetics is releasing a gorgeous spring collection called Field Day which features 3 new nail colours (which I have to show you), 3 lipsticks (2 matte & 1 gloss) and 2 shimmery eye pencils.

Collection Cosmetics Field Day Collection Nail Polishes; Heather, Peony & Peach Blossom

I have long since loved Collection for their affordable but high quality products, their polishes are amazing for the price tag and since their re-brand, I have loved their seasonal capsule collections. Field Day is possibly my fave release so far with it's fresh packaging and floral names, although last Summers Mardis Gras collection is a very close second (post here).

Heather is a lilac toned grey. This is THE new colour of the year and a great transition shade for these early spring days. I needed 2 coats for full coverage and applied topcoat for supershine.

Peony is a dusky blush pink colour. I am loving all the new shades of pink and it's definitely a colour Collection do well (see their pinks here). I used 3 coats and topcoat for the picture below.

Lastly is Peach Blossom, another perfect spring shade that is everywhere on the beauty scene right now. Again I needed 3 coats (I blame my long nails) and added a topcoat to finish.

The formula for these is great, its buttery, applied smoothly and dries reasonably quickly. Allow a good couple of minutes between coats to avoid any dragging and add your fave topcoat for shine and longevity.

So which is your fave? I think Peach Blossom has pipped it to the top spot for me, although the other 2 are close behind. If you've not tried Collection Cosmetics nail polishes, I highly recommend you give them a go. I for one will be off to Superdrug this week to grab the other new products from the Field Day collection and hope to see more of these beautiful polishes over IG in the coming weeks.

The Field Day Nail Polishes are priced at £1.99 each, Lipsticks at £2.99 each & the Eye Pencils at £3.19 each. They're all avaliable on the 11th March in Superdrug and on the 18th March in Boots.
