Today I have some amazing nail polishes to show you from a new to me brand called Little Ondine. Little Ondine creates water based nail polish from natural ingredients, in fact they only use natural resin, organic colourants and water in their products - Wow right?

Little Ondine Overnight and Purple Rain bottles

The benefits of using these polishes are numerous but the main ones include;

  • Easy to peel off (no need for harsh removers)
  • Odor free (apply in the office or on a plane ... there's no nasty smells)
  • Quick drying
  • Pregnancy & Vegan friendly (perfect for little ones too)

However before I get into the swatches, I want to take a moment to express my love for the packaging. Never before have I seen such beautiful boxes on anything, let alone nail polish.

Application of these polishes is slightly different to normal polish so follow these steps and you'll be fine.

  1. Shake the bottle of polish well.
  2. Wash & dry your nails.
  3. Apply 2/3 coats.
  4. Apply your normal topcoat.
  5. Avoid wetting nails for an hour after application.

You can't clean up using acetone/nail polish remover so be careful when applying the polish, also make sure the coats is fully dry before applying another one or you'll drag the polish.

First up I have Purple Rain, a bright berry creme shade. I used 2 thick coats plus topcoat for this swatch.

Little Ondine Purple Rain

Overnight is a gorgeous micro silver glitter topper. I used 1 coat over Purple Rain. I love how sparkly this polish is and as it peels off removal took all of 1 minute - the perfect glitter.

Considering the natural aspect of this brand, I was shocked at how many beautifully bright and bold colours they have and I also love that the glitters peel off as easily as the colours (can I get a hallelujah!). I think they are incredible and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for something new and natural.

You can buy Little Ondine online here from £8.40.
