PR Sample

Happy hump day all, today I have a review of all the products that were on show at the Barry M Launch Event last Friday (post here) and luckily for me were including in their goodie bag.

First up are the makeup items. Barry M are launching 3 new items this Spring, 2 are extensions of existing collections and the third is a possible dupe of a very expensive and well known mascara.

Last spring (post here) Barry M released their contour kit 'Chisel Cheeks'. This was an instant hit due to the popularity of contouring and subsequently highlighting. This year Barry M have released a Chisel Cheeks for Medium to Dark skin tones which will no doubt be as equally successful.

This is launching on the 10th February in Superdrug and on the 17th February in Boots priced at £6.49.

Barry M's Shape & Define brow kit has also had a new colour palette added with their Light to Medium colour way.

This is launching on the 10th February in Superdrug and on the 17th February in Boots priced at £5.99.

That's How I Roll mascara has many similarities to Benefit's Roller Lash in both appearance and performance. However the main difference is the impact to our bank balances. At nearly a 1/4 of the price, it's sure to be another massive success.

This is launching on the 10th February in Superdrug and on the 17th February in Boots priced at £4.99.

Now onto the nail polish! It's no secret that I love Barry M's nail paint line. These 16 new additions have got me very excited for Spring and considering I have 260+ Barry M colours (before this release) this is quite a feat! Barry M are great at creating colours within colours and fill in the gaps between shades so well. These new nail paints fit in seamlessly with their respective collections as well as the Barry M line as a whole.

The Gelly Nail Paint line has had a further 4 colours added to it, bringing it to a total of 46. These fresh new pale pastels are the perfect colours for spring and remind me of mini eggs!

They are available now in Superdrug and from the 10th February in Boots priced at £3.99 each.

The Speedy Quick Dry Nail Paint line, Barry M's answer to a fast mani (launched last February - post here), has also had 4 new colours added. These appear at first glance to be very similar to the Gellys, but look closer and you'll see the shades are slightly more pigmented and offer an extension to the pale pastels of the Gellys.

Finally the Sunset Daylight Curing Nail Paint line (launched last April - post here) has had an injection of vivid colour with its 4 new additions. Rather than your typical spring launch, these colours will suit the transition period between spring and summer perfectly, with their bold almost cocktail like hues. These were an instant eye catcher at the spring launch and I can't wait to have a play with them.

So there we are Barry M fans. I am, of course, most excited for the new nail paints, however the mascara has also got me very intrigued. If it works as well as Roller Lash, it'll be a great saving to my beauty outgoings, allowing me to spend even more money on nail polish.
