Happy Thursday all. Where has the time gone since I last blogged? I honestly thought I'd come back to spiders and cobwebs but we all know my blog has lay unloved for much longer periods of time (my bad).

Any way, a couple of weeks ago the lovely people over at Itsy Nails London sent me some of their gorgeous DuroPro gel shades.

Like a lot of non-gel gel nail polish (still with me), these offer a super shiny, glossy finish without the need for a curing lamp or salon quality removal products. Yes I know what you're thinking ... oh great, another gel-effect polish, but honestly these are such a great quality & from a home grown UK brand that I beg you to please stick with me.

First up I have the most incredible bright sky blue polish I've ever worn. In Deep was a colour I had seen other bloggers swatch and knew I needed (that and No Fear). Thankfully I was lucky enough to be sent it, but it was ready in my online basket just in case. Again 2 coats (2nd only to deepen it) was all I needed for full coverage.

Next I have City Girl, which is a gorgeous soft concrete grey. Oh how I swooned when I applied this to my nails. Although not a colour I usually associate with Spring it's one I'll be reaching for again and again over the next few months. The formula is so amazing that 2 coats was all it took for full coverage.

Ooo La La is a blush/salmon pink shade that looks so flattering on. I love all kinds of pink but never usually reach for one so muted, that has now changed since this colour joined my stash. It's perfect for spring and looks just as sophisticated as any nude nail. 2 coats for full coverage (surprise) and looks deliciously glossy.

Last up is a cherry red called Drop Red Gorgeous. I love reds but hate what they do to my skin in photos (hello white walker hands). This colour was so pigmented that I could have got away with a single coat, however the nail OCD weirdo in me needs to apply a second.

Unfortunately I don't wear a polish long enough to test it's true durability capabilities but City Girl did stay chip free for the 3 days I wore it. I was very impressed with the universal amazingness of the formula and the pigmentation of these polishes. They were all on the slightly thicker side, which I love, so applied smoothly and streak free.

If you're interested in these (and who wouldn't be) these are available on Itsy Nails London online for a moderate £5.99 each. I highly suggest you invest in a couple of shades (spend over £10 and get free delivery) and give your nails a spring time treat.

Don't forget to check out Itsy Nails London on their social media platforms and tag your nail pics using #itsynailslondon if you use any of their shades.
