PR Sample

Sunday's here and it's time for me to stop ignoring the fact that my Easter holidays are over and I'm back to work tomorrow. This isn't a bad thing, I'm actually looking forward to it, but what it means is that I have to stop putting off those boring jobs I've been saying I'll do on that oh so mythical and productive 'tomorrow'.

Jessica Nails Spring 2016 Pop Couture Collection

Anyway on to more exciting things. Today I have swatches of Jessica Nails new Pop Couture, Spring 2016 collection.
This collection is right up my street and I was so excited when it landed in my post box. I'm obsessed with bright colours and these 6 are some of my fave shades (hello 2 pinks, I see you and I'm loving you already).

Firstly for those of you who haven't tried any Jessica polishes, the formula is up there with the best, and the pigmentation is so good that you will need 2 coats, max! I was blown away with how buttery these were to apply, which made swatching a real joy,

First up is Runway Ready, a lovely strawberry red, This was good in 1 coat but I added another to deepen the colour and added a coat of Brilliance topcoat to finish.

Strike A Pose is a gorgeous sea green with a strong turquoise undertone. This was another 2 coater and again I finished with Brilliance topcoat.

It Girl is a lovely lavender shade. This applied sheer on the first coat but built up to opacity on the second, again it was finished with Brilliance topcoat.

Glam Squad is a hot magenta pink and it's amazing. I needed 2 coats (second only to deepen the colour) and I finished with a coat of Brilliance topcoat.

Fashionably Late is a bright carrot orange. This is almost neon and it's so bright when on. I needed 2 coats for full opacity but added a 3rd because I wanted to see if it altered the colour (it didn't). I forgot to add topcoat to this so you can see that it's more of a satin finish (due to the neon-y nature).

Lastly I have Pop Princess which is a stunning baby/barbie pink. This needed 2 coats for full coverage and I topped with a coat of Brilliance topcoat.

So there we have it, aren't those colours amazing?! If I had to pick a fave it would be It Girl, this shade of purple is so lovely for Spring and will look just as amazing come the summer. However all the colours are ones I love and will wear again and again.

Don't forget to follow Jessica Nails on their social media sites for more news about their gorgeous products.

So what do you think about these colours? Which is your fave?
