PR Sample
So this post is going up a tad later than I planned. What with one thing and another, May became crazier & crazier. I hate that my blog is the first thing to go from my life when it gets busy. If anyone has any advice on managing work/life balance, I'd love to hear your strategies.

Earlier this month Barry M released a ton of new Summer 2016 products (see my overview blog post here) and slowly I have been reviewing them.

Today I have a review of the new Molten Metals nail polish collection. This is a new permanent line from Barry M and I am very excited by that news. These polishes are beautiful and have the most amazingly shiny, mirror foil finish. On top of this the colours are so multifaceted that they seem to change depending on the light and type of topcoat worn.

Barry M Molten Metals Collection

First up I have Silver Lining. This is a deep gunmetal grey with a blue undertone. I applied 3 thin coats and left it without a topcoat as it's so shiny. Once I added Barry M's matte topcoat you can see that it becomes more silvery-blue.

Gold Digger is a light yellowy gold with a green undertone. I applied 3 thin coats. You can see how different this polish looks from the photos below where I've added Matte Topcoat. However when it's shiny, it really looks like you've dipped your nails in molten gold.

Copper Mine is one of the most beautiful from this collection. It's a rusty copper with terracotta undertones. Like the others it needed 3 thin coats for full coverage & like the others it changes depending on the light and topcoat. I think I prefer this one Matte over shiny.

Last up is Bronze Bae. Although I'm not a fan of the name (Bae - really?), this colour is stunning and the bronze/gold finish looks so beautiful both shiny and matte. I needed 3 thin coats for full coverage.

Overall this collection is gorgeous, it's not a typical summer launch and I know these polishes are not the new 'foil coming' that some stampers seem to think was owed to them but I love them all the same.

These polishes have been out since the 11th May in both Superdrug & Boots stores nationwide for £3.99 each.
