Custard Yellow Floral Nail Art

Thursday, 2 June 2016

Happy Thursday, hope you're having a lovely day. Today I have some sunny yellow nails to brighten up this dreary week. Here in the south of England the weather has been cold, wet and to be perfectly honest, amazing. I'm not a fan of the heat and although I love the sun, I prefer stormy, wintry days.

I used Primark's P.S. polish Custard as the base for this (swatches of this and other Primark colours will be my next post, so make sure you pop back for that).
I then placed some striping tape across the nails and started painting on some tiny ditsy flowers using acryllic paints (I've discussed my use of paints to create nail art here). To finish I added some cute bow embellishments.

So what do you think? I love how pretty these are. I tend to overlook yellow as a base for nail art but I think this pastel colour from Primark is gorgeous. Let me know if there's a particular colour you'd like to see me use in nail art.

See you on Saturday for my Spring Nail Polish Primark swatch post.
