Howdy, how are you all on this sunny summery July Sunday? Oh wait, it's not sunny, it hardly feels like summer and yet again my flat feels like an ice box. I honestly don't know what's going on with the weather this year but I'm seriously hoping that it improves.

L.O.G Cosmetics Nail Polishes

Today I have a review of 6 out of the 12 L.O.G Cosmetics nail polishes from the 'Beautician Collection'. L.O.G Cosmetic is a new (to me) UK company whose polishes are 5-free and vegan friendly which is amazing.
L.O.G Cosmetics also offer a really huge range of beauty products (aimed at women of colour but also suitable for all skin tones) and OMG some of the lip and eye shades are amazing.

First up I have All Bets Are Off, this khaki green with golden shimmer is very pretty, although not usually a colour I would wear. In some lights all you see is the flash of the golden shimmer and in others you get a glimpse of the deep green. The formula was lovely and I needed only 2 coats for full coverage.

I Have A Dream is a deep vampy plum creme shade. Oh wow this is dark and brooding but I kinda love it. The formula was amazing again and it deepened up perfectly to a glossy finish after 3 coats.

Pinky Swear is an incredibly bright barbie pink creme. This is my kind of shade and I saved this one until the end so I could paint my other 6 fingers and wear it for a few days. The formula was smooth and so lovely to apply but it did dry semi-matt so I added a coat of topcoat.

Ready Or Not is a pretty pearly blue. This also has a subtle pink shimmer running through it which looks gorgeous. I used 3 coats to build up that amazing shimmer.

Sassy Wahala is a cherry red with pearly finish and a pink shimmer similar to that seen in Ready Or Not. This polish is stunning and would be incredible for Christmas. I used 2 coats for full coverage.

Lastly is Shakara, a mauve toned nude creme, which is gorgeous. It's does change colour depending on the light so I've tried to capture it as it appears in real life, but it is slightly more nude toned in the bottle so just beware of that. I used 2 coats for the swatch below.

So there we have it, I love the range of colours and finishes I was sent to try. Although the first coat was relatively thin, they all built up to full coverage within the second or third coat. The only tiny negative thing I could pick up on (and believe me it is tiny) is that the brush is very thin. However it didn't impact my application so I only mention it because the polish world seems to have moved to round flat brushes and some may expect that with this brand.

What's your fave colour? I think mine has to be Pinky Swear but I'm strangely drawn to Sassy Wahala (which rarely happens to me and reds).

You can buy these polishes online from L.O.G Cosmetics priced at £6 each here.

Make sure you follow L.O.G Cosmetics on their social media too, they're always looking for bloggers to work with and have some amazing product photos.
