Guest Post Over At The Nail And Beauty Files

Wednesday, 14 September 2016

Hi everyone and happy hump day. How is your week going? It's so weird to think that we're pretty much half way through September now. Pretty soon people won't be able to say anything against my autumn/winter mania as Summer is totally on the way out.

Today I have a guest post over at Sam's amazing blog 'The Nail And Beauty Files'. Sam has been busy preparing for her wedding (she actually got Married last Sunday - massive congratulations) and I was thrilled to be able to help her out as she settles into married life by creating some nail art inspired by a previous mani of hers. For more details, make sure you check out the post here.

Jessica Nail 'Into The Wild' Collection

Monday, 12 September 2016

It's another beautiful week and I don't know about you, but I'm getting major autumn vibes today. The mornings are a little misty, the days a little cooler and the leaves are starting to change. It seems only fitting then that I bring you some new AW polishes from Jessica Nails.

Jessica Nails Into The Wild Collection

Jessica Nails have created some stunning collections this year, you may remember the Spring Pop Couture collection & the Summer Polished In Pastels collection that I featured previously. Weren't they incredible!? Of course the new Into The Wild collection is no different and I'm so excited to get these swatches on my blog.

Guest Post Over At Nuthin But A Nail Thing

Sunday, 11 September 2016

Did you know that this time in 15 weeks it'll be Christmas Day? No!? Well now you do, and aren't you totally excited? I have spotted advent calendars on sale this week, picked up some Christmas candles and actually wrapped some Christmas presents last weekend. I'm really embracing my Christmas crazy this year ... with no shame.

Today I have a guest post over on Claire's amazing blog Nuthin But A Nail Thing and I hope you all pop over and have a look at the nail art I created - link here.

A few weeks ago Claire started 'The Sunday Slot' and is giving all nail bloggers a chance to feature their work on her successful blog, just drop her an email if you're interested. I was so excited that she allowed me to be a part of this series, the bloggers featured so far have been amazing. I tried my best to create some nail art based on her beautiful dotticures so let me know what you think.

Have a lovely week and enjoy your sunny Sunday.

Happy Hands Love Handcreams

Saturday, 10 September 2016

Back on the 7th August I guest blogged for Helen of Hellz Nails on her second blog called Helerina Blogs - link here. I'm hoping you all saw the post but if not, you can read it here on my blog today.

Handcreams and general hand/nail care items are possibly my second favourite thing to buy when out shopping, first is obviously nail polish.

Happy Thursday, I hope you've all been having a lovely week. Mine has been manic but I'm so glad it's nearly the weekend. I have lots of swatching and blog posts to catch up on and I'm hoping to also spend some time browsing around the shops (I may even pick up a few more Christmas presents).

Today I bring you a very exciting post. Red Carpet Manicure are a well known gel polish company who boast an extensive range of beautiful gel colours. In fact all summer I have been lusting after their 'Escape To Paradise' collection (swatching coming soon), so I was thrilled when I was sent their Gel Polish Pro Kit.

Models Own - 2016 So Far - A Collection Round Up

Tuesday, 6 September 2016

Happy Tuesday, today has been a pretty exhausting for me. However I popped into town after work and picked up some cute Christmas nail files from Poundland and a new Vanilla candle from B&M which made me feel better.

The other day I made this collage of all of the Models Own polishes released so far this year (I'm hoping there'll be lots more) and thought it would make a great post. After all sometimes you just want to see gorgeous swatches.

MeeBox August 2016 'Boho' Box Nail Art

Monday, 5 September 2016

Happy Monday all, I don't know about you but I've actually had a lovely day, no seriously! I'm sure it has everything to do with this change in weather (I love a rainy day) and although I may have been a little warm in my snuggly jumper, there was no way I was taking it off. Anyway, as promised yesterday I have some nail art to show you today, using the colours from last months 1st birthday 'boho' MeeBox.

If you don't know what colours I'm referring to, the polishes in this box were; Aggie from Zoya, Prince I've Been Gone from Cuccio and Green Berry by Barry M. I was so inspired by the palette and the Miss Cat Nails foil, that knew immediately the kind of nail art I wanted to create.

MeeBox August 2016 - 1st Birthday 'Boho' Edition

So I know it's September and this post is a little late due to the fact the lovely MeeBox was technically 1 last month, but between the Royal Mail, a bank holiday and some personal set backs it is the way it is.

I actually reviewed the very 1st MeeBox last year (see the post here), so it was a real honour to review their 1st birthday box as well.
