So I know it's September and this post is a little late due to the fact the lovely MeeBox was technically 1 last month, but between the Royal Mail, a bank holiday and some personal set backs it is the way it is.
I actually reviewed the very 1st MeeBox last year (see the post here), so it was a real honour to review their 1st birthday box as well.
Although my nail shape and camera have changed in the last year, my love for this UK company hasn't. Not only do they curate and distribute one of the best monthly boxes out there (in my opinion), but the ladies behind the company are truly lovely and it's a pleasure to be on #teamMeeBox again.
As usual there were some stunning products in this box, including a gorgeous gift (a tiny midi-ring) and some own brand nail polish remover, which smells delicious. What I love about the MeeBox is the polishes are always so perfectly matched to the theme and the selection this month was incredible.
Aggie from Zoya - (RRP £11.70)
This polish is a delicate duochrome that shifts from a beetle wing green to a stunning gold. Although the shift isn't as noticeable on the nail, it still looks gorgeous and I love the super shimmery finish. I needed 3 coats, no topcoat.
Prince I've Been Gone from Cuccio - (RRP £7.95)
I've never tried any polish from Cuccio before and I was surprised by it. The formula is super thick and pigmented. However it was easy to apply and I only needed 2 thin coats for the swatch, plus topcoat.
Green Berry from Barry M - (RRP £3.99)
This is actually the second time I've swatched this polish this year (see my 'teal tips' post here). You all know how much I love Barry M and the formula of this is stunning. I needed only 2 thin coats and no topcoat for the swatch. You can also see the midi ring in this picture, I got the arrow design but I've seen a couple of other varieties around.
Also included in this box was a stunning Metallic Leaf pot from Miss Cat Nails (RRP £2.49), some Nail Polish Remover from MeeBox (RRP £3) and their birthday gift to us; a small Sterling Silver Boho ring (RRP 10.99).
Now if you've been keeping count you know this box has worked out at a whooping £40.12, considering the monthly subscription is only £20 including P&P, that's an amazing deal and I can't thank MeeBox enough for celebrating their 1st Birthday with us in such generous style.
If you're interested in signing up to MeeBox the September Box is 'Pumpkin Spice' themed ... you can count me in!
So which of these 3 colours is your fave? Have you had a fave MeeBox from the last year?
Make sure you come back tomorrow for 2 nail art looks created using these gorgeous colours.
