PR SampleAnother month and another fabulous MeeBox review. The day the new MeeBox arrives at my door is like a mini Christmas. Not knowing what is coming through the post is one of the most thrilling things and I love discovering what goodies have been included. What I love about MeeBox is the fact they change and morph the themes perfectly to suit the season and with the onset of Autumn, the 'Pumpkin Spice' theme of this months MeeBox is very apt.
I have to admit to having never tried a Pumpkin Spice drink. In fact, now I think on the matter, I don't think I have ever eaten anything pumpkin flavoured in my life. I do carve a pumpkin for Halloween every year, however I never think to buy one and eat it, maybe I'll search out some recipes and try something new this month.
Included in the box were 3 nail polishes;
Clementine by Crabtree & Evelyn - RRP £6
Wow! This gorgeous colour is a soft orange which leans a little coral. It has a strong silver/orange shimmer that translates as a shiny finish. I needed 2 coats for full coverage, no topcoat. I was glad to see an orange amongst the polishes, the pumpkin theme just wouldn't have been complete without it.
Nude No.1 by Lauren B - RRP £11
This polish is a soft creamy vanilla shade. This was slightly sheer so I needed 3 thick coats for full coverage, no topcoat. This colour reminds me of whipped cream or buttercream and is a perfect counterpart to the bright orange of the first polish.
Venus Desire by Leighton Denny - RRP £12
Another wow colour, this polish is a sumptuous warm brown with red/gold duochrome mini flakies. This was great in 2 coats, no topcoat. This colour is possibly my favourite from the box, it suits the theme to a t and is only missing a coffee scent in it's perfection.
The extras this month were some stamping goodies:
Bundle Monster Monocle XL Stamper, Scraper and Stamping Plate - RRP £12
I was so excited to see these included in the box. I've been wanting to get a clear stamper for a long time, so this falling through my letter box was a massive treat. The image plate is stunning and although I've not managed to get it to work (I am seriously hopeless at stamping), I'm hoping that now I have some amazing things to play with, it might make practising more enjoyable.
The total value of this box is a huge £41, more than double the subscription cost of £20. I honestly find it amazing that MeeBox can keep smashing out these huge value boxes month after month and I can not recommend this service enough. The ladies at MeeBox are phenomenal and have all of us 'nail lovers' best interests at heart, proof of that is the fact they curate box after box of delightful goodies for us at such a bargain price.
Now it must come as no surprise that the next theme is halloween based. Sugar Skulls will be very popular and I am already hoping that I can grab myself a box, my mind is already racing at what could be included. Make sure you sign up here.
I will have some Pumpkin Spice themed nail art up on the blog in a couple of days, so make sure you stop by and check it out.
