26 GNAI - Winter Warmth

Friday, 25 November 2016

Happy Black Friday, have you had a successful shopping day? I only grabbed a few Christmas presents but the most exciting thing that happened today was bagging myself a free Daisy Dixon watch in their Black Friday giveaway (my sister also got one which was amazing), anyone else get one? Actually that was a lie, there's another more exciting thing that happened, but for that you need to check back later, possibly tomorrow, dependening on when I get my swatches done.

Today I have another of the 26 Great Nail Art Ideas manis and for a change it's actually being posted on the correct day.

The prompt was 'Winter Warmth' and my initial thoughts were of fires, snuggly blankets and steaming mugs of hot chocolate, however I have neither the time nor skills to create a mani with all those things incorporated. My next idea was to do a winter themed mani using a warm colour palette, so that's what I have for you.

I used Nails Inc 'Portland Square' for the base, Moyou 'White' and Collection 'Hollywood Red' for the stamping. I finally added some tiny rhinestones for some sparkle.

As always I'm excited to see what other designs the ladies in this tag come up with, it's amazing how differently people can interpret a prompt.

I'm now off to soak in a hot bath, have a large cuppa in my new Christmas mug and watch Polar Express for the hundredth time. Oh and only 5 more sleeps until the tree goes up, I actually ordered 1000 lights for it today, it's going to be magical!

What do you think of this design? Let me know your fave Christmas stamping plate in the comments below, I'm in desperate need of some but have no idea where to start.
