Put your fave Christmas playlist on, grab a glass of mulled wine and snuggle up in your cheesiest of Christmas jumpers because things are getting festive tonight!

I was recently contacted by CICI&SISI and asked if I fancied reviewing some of their plates and of course my answer was a very enthusiastic YES. Now if you've followed me for a while, you know that stamping is a recent string to my nail art bow, so I'm happy to have any opportunity to try out new plates and practice my very shaky technique.

CICI&SISI sent over a few plates for me to try and today I have a review of their Christmas Party 03 plate which is full of cute festive images (see my review of their Fun Stuff 32 plate here). The first thing I noticed was that all the plates were made of acrylic rather than metal, something that originally caused me to panic. However after my first use, I was convinced this is the future of my stamping ventures as these plates are an absolute dream to use.

For this first manicure I double stamped a couple of the snowflake designs over a base of The Precious from Models Own new Glitterball collection and used Rimmel Do Not Disturb and MoYou White stamping polishes for the snowflakes. I absolutely love this design and it was so easy to do - a big win.

For my second design I decided to use part of an image and embellish it once it was on the nail (my thoughts were that it would give more of a hand painted effect), although this was a lot more time consuming than simply stamping, it was nice to try a different technique.

I love the finished design and appreciate the uniformity of the holly leaves. I used Models Own Gold Rush for the base and stamped with Ebony Green from their hypergel collection, I then used lots of paints and some glitter to jazz up the image.

Overall I love my experience of stamping with CICI&SISI plates and will def be grabbing a few more. Their postage time was incredibly quick considering they dispatch from the US and seeing as they're priced at $5.99 each, they're also a complete bargain. You can check out the full range here.

What are your thoughts on these festive manis? Do you like acrylic plates?
Have a lovely evening.
