PR Sample

Happy Friday, I hope you're as glad it's the weekend as I am. As usual my Friday night plans involve soaking my carcass in a hot bath and heading to bed crazily early. These days I'm less party animal and more lazy animal and there's zero shame!

Today I have another Crumpets Nail Tarts, 26 Great Nail Art Ideas prompt - Blue Floral.

I was lucky enough to be sent some more gorgeous polishes and a White Hologram Glitter from The Edge Nails (see my review of their Annika polishes here) and I knew as soon as I saw Pool Party and White Swan together, that this blue/white combo would form the basis of my mani for this challenge.

I also used an old Rimmel colour called Blindfold Me Blue and Nicole Diary stamping plate 007.

The glitter was child's play to use as it comes in a very handy bottle with a soft nozzle and easy to remove top. The glitter comes out in a fine stream and sticks to tacky polish perfectly. I love the holo sparkle of this glitter and know it'd look gorgeous over all colours.

I will review the polishes themselves at a later date, but Pool Party was a 2 coater and I managed to get White Swan to stamp easily enough. The quality of the Annika range is brilliant and I love them so much that I placed a cheeky order for 3 more just last night.

Finally I added a flower rhinestone to my index finger. I love this mani, I think it's the contrast of the blues and the sparkle from the glitter accent nail that appeals to me most. I seriously need to remember that I love glitter accents.

If you'd like to try any of The Edge nails extensive nail art supplies, you can shop them online here.
The glitter I was sent cost £3.36 and can be found here, the Annika polishes all cost £4.20 can can be found here.

What do you think of this mani? I am loving the subtle change to spring themed floral nails and can't wait to create many more.

Vicky xx

  2. I love this so much! I really like the flower on the index finger; I feel like larger accents like that can be hard to pull off and it fits so well in this mani.

    1. Haha, I kinda just clumped that accent on and hoped for the best. I had run out of ideas about what to do. Glad you think it's ok though! x

  3. I love these! Always admire a good skittle - I tend to run out of inspiration after two or three nails 😂 The glitter is very pretty and it matches your flower charm perfectly 💙

    1. Thank you Jo, I always plough into a mani without planning it and then end up stuck on one or two nails - hence glitter and rhinestones - haha. Thanks though, I do like the finished design though xx
