Models Own Rose Scented Nail Polish Remover

Thursday, 2 February 2017

Today I have something a little different, I don't think in all the years I've been blogging have I reviewed a polish remover. I'm not sure why, considering how vital it is to the roll of any nail blogger.

It's possibly because nail polish remover isn't sexy, it isn't glamorous ... that was until I recently got hold of Models Own Rose Scented polish.

As soon as I got this remover, I knew I was destined to review it. Anything that blatantly allows me to use roses in the photos has to be included on this blog. That and the fact that this is now my second bottle and it's a brilliant product, so I wanted to tell you all about.

This is a super strength, acetone infused nail polish remover. It also contains nourishing Argan oil, Vitamin E and B5. Now this remover is great as a clean up product and is kinder on the nails and cuticles than pure acetone. It also works well as a remover for glitter polish, we all know that stuff is super stubborn. Finally it's rose scented, a smell that reminds me of my mum. My mum loves rose scented everything and as soon as I used this, she popped into my mind. It's beautifully floral and really masks the harsh chemical scent.

If you're interested in this product you can grab it online from the Models Own website or in store at any of their shops, priced at £3.99 a bottle.

Have you tried any Models Own polish removers? Also what's your favourite polish remover? I'm always on the look out to try new products.

  1. Oooh this looks lovely! Scented polish removers are so nice to use, you should try the True Brit London ones, they have a Strawberries and Cream scented remover that is LUSH. Will definitely be picking up a bottle of this to try :)

  2. Is it bad that I am drawn to this (and other posts) because of the pretty pictures? LOL Seriously though, nice! This remover sounds heavenly, especially with the added ingredients to pamper your nails. Personally I have a hard time with fragrances...so, I've begun using acetone additives since I can usually find someone selling trial sizes.

    1. It is difficult, fragranced cosmetics are a personal choice, but polish remover is so strong smelling, that anything to try and cover that is a blessing.
Acetone additives? I need to look that up xx

  3. Not tried this one but I'm tempted, I love rose scented things. I normally just use the stuff in the pink bottle from poundshops. Although at the moment I have a Sally Hansen one which smells horrendous, and it lingers for ages too :(

    1. Ooh no, that's no pleasant. I usually have a stock of Superdrug ones as I love that they're not tested on animals and you can always grab them on offer. However this one is great & I love how pretty it smells xx

  4. Ohh floral nail Polish remover. So nice! All I think of when I think of nail Polish remover smell is the nasty strong pungent stuff. So it's nice to know there are options out there that are as pleasant to the nose as they are to your nails xx

  5. Oooh, tempted by this, I love a rose scent. I've got a few bottles of the Ciate chocolate scented remover - I add a glug into my standard Cutex remover to give a hint of chocolate!
