Primark Swatch Catch Up - Part 3

Saturday, 4 February 2017

Yay for Saturday and the weekend. I hope you're all rested and are having a lovely time. Today I have Part 3 of my Primark swatch catch up (Part 1 and Part 2 are well worth a read, so catch up on those at some point if you haven't already).

Over the course of the last half of 2016 I managed to accumulate 25 Primark polishes and for some reason I never got round to swatching them. However during January I set myself a challenge to get them done (before I pick up anymore) and thankfully I managed to complete it.

Blue
For some reason this is appearing a hell of a lot like a completely different polish than it does in real life. Its actually a cornflower blue creme and no where near as bright as this, which is a shame as the colour I see on my computer is lovely, it's just not what I actually wore, my camera just caught something else. I blame the 'many worlds interpretation'.

Bronze
Like the name suggests, this metallic has a gorgeous colour and applies like a dream. I needed 2 thin coats for full coverage.

Coffee (it doesn't have a name so I made it up)
A brown polish with a hint of mauve, on the nail it looked like coffee (hence my very apt name). The formula is just as lovely as the rest and I needed only 2 coats.

Dark Red
As far as names go, this polish has a totally snooze worthy one, however the colour is anything but. This deep blood red creme  has an equally beautiful formula to the rest I've swatched, 1 smooth coat to polish perfection.

Grey
This blue toned grey creme is a classic and perfect for all year round wear. I needed 2 coats for this swatch.

Mint
This pale green creme is stunning and although I picked it up in Autumn, it'll be great for the upcoming Spring 'pastel fever' season. 2 coats for full coverage.

Red
Like most reds, the formula is fab and I needed only 1 coat for full coverage.

I think this 3rd batch is amazing and I love the twist on some classics. Let me know if you like any of them, or even if you have any.

If you're interested in trying out some of Primark's polishes, pop in store and pick them up as prices start as low as 80p a bottle (these shown here were all 90p each).

  1. Gorgeous stfwatches as usual!❤love the dark red and light blue. Out of curiosity, as a lot of these are 1 coaters, have you tried stamping with any? Would be interesting to find out if they are any good!

    1. Thank you, I love them too. I haven't tried these as stamping polishes but I did try the gels and they were great. I'll def give the reds a go though and report back xx

  2. Love blue. Love grey and I love mint. Those reds are fab too. Such classic red shades! The blues are by far my faves from these 6 though. And I'm not a massive blue nail Polish fan. I'm looking forwards to the other reviews... treats from Exeter primark last week to see as well. Gorgeous swatches and great review vic xx
