Primark Swatch Catch Up - Part 4

Sunday, 5 February 2017

Hopefully Part 4 of my Primark swatch post is welcome, I mean I know I will never get sick of looking at glossy swatches, but even if it's not, it's the last one (for now) so that's a silver lining. Thank you so much for sticking with me while I get these up on my blog.

Make sure you have a look at Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 at some point too, as there are lots of beautiful colours you've missed.

Ice Queen
This fresh sky blue creme is gorgeous. I needed only 2 coats for full coverage.

This baby pink creme has a subtle sparkly golden shimmer and is very similar to First Date (I had swatches of that in my Part 1 post).

This black crelly is lovely in 2 coats and like Primark's gel polish 'Liquorice' (see my review here), it has a lovely formula.

These next 2 are what I call the Primark Shinies. They come with mirror caps and are a holographic glitter duo.

Glam Rock
A shattered holo silver glitter that needs a little dabbling into place, however looks amazing on.

Star Gazer
This polish has lots of gorgeous blue toned flakies that shimmer pink, purple, green and yellow.  I wore it over a coat of Coffee (as these flakie glitters work best over a darker base) and love the effect,

I also added a matte topcoat and love the result even more. What do you think?

So there we have it folks, these 5 polishes wrap up my mammoth Primark catch up series and now present the opportunity to bore you with a further post featuring a giant collage all of the Primark swatches from 2016. Would you be interested in that? I also have 7 new Spring 2017 shades I've picked up recently. However I will leave it a week or so before I post them

If you want to try out some of Primark's polishes, pop in store and pick them up as prices start as low as 80p a bottle (these shown here were all 80p each apart from the 2 glitters which were £1.50 each).

I have to admit that I love featuring more inexpensive polishes on my blog and plan to try a few other brands this year. Any suggestions?

Vicky xx

  1. Wow the matte with star grazers on top is fab! As I've said before I'm not a matter fan but I just fall in love with your matte swatches. Some of these colours are lovely. Can't say that they have pulled me in as much as some of the others from primark but you make them look lovely. Well done on such great reviews. Xx

    1. It def looks a lot lovelier mattified, although the sparkle when it's shiny is also amazing. I'm glad you enjoy the reviews, thanks so much xxx

  2. The flakies look awesome mattified! I think I have Glam Rock somewhere, must have a dig through and find it.

    1. It is so beautiful mattified, I suggest you try and grab a bottle of it if you can. Glam rock is so pretty, I love it too x

  3. Those first few polishes are right up my alley! Gorgeous swatches <3
    Tracy xx

    1. Thank you so much Tracy, the colours are beautiful x

  4. Just been catching up on all of your Primark posts, absolutely gorgeous swatches thank you for sharing! So so impressed with these, you can be sure I will be picking up what I can on my next primarni trip! And at that price...totally guilt free haha! Really love how the bottles have the name & shade on the lid too, very helpful when you have drawer storage!

    1. I'm such a big fan of the colours and price that I can't resist grabbing new shades. Not all of the polishes have names on the lids which is a shame, I love those ones the most. However I hope that Primark start listening to feedback and roll out that as it's such a great touch.
Enjoy your shopping, I can't wait to hear about what you pick up! xx

  5. So pretty, some great picks there. I picked up star gazer at the weekend, I can't wait to use it. It looks beautiful with a matte top coat over the top xx
    A Nail Polish Addiction

    1. Ooh star gazer is gorgeous and you'll love it mattified. Can't wait to see you wear it! xx
