26 GNAI - Mixed Tape Mani

Sunday, 5 March 2017

I can't believe that I've got another Crumpet's Nail Tarts mani for you today. The weeks really slip by. This time the challenge was Mixed Tape Mani. A prompt that seemed to cause a little trouble as no one was sure what exactly they were suppose to do.

I interpreted it like this - a mixed technique mani with the use of tape. Yes a total cop-out but as I didn't plan this mani and then really loved how it turned out when it was finished, I wanted to use it and sometimes you have to make a square peg fit in a round hole.

Like last time with my Blue Floral mani, I used all Edge Nails products to create this design. Pink Sherbet, Mint Dream and White Swan from their Annika polish range and their sparkly White Hologram Glitter.

I applied some chevron vinyls on my first two nails and then alternated painting Pink Sherbet and Mint Dream on my nails. I added White Hologlam Glitter over my accent nail (however this time I used the glitter over Pink Sherbet and love how it looks.), added some rhinestones to my pinky and finally stamped on a random design (the plate is very old with no marking) with White Swan.

What do you think? I love the spring feel of this and think it may be one of my most favourite designs of the year so far. The colour combo is perfect for me.

Keep your eyes peeled as I'll be posting a review of these polishes this week and you don't want to miss it.

Have a great day and lets hope we have some spring like weather this week.

    1. It's so chilly, we still have the heating on most days and I can't leave the house without a coat! However there are some flowers creeping through the dirt and I know that soon enough we'll have the sunny spring days we crave xx
