PR Sample

Happy Thursday, hope you're enjoying your week. Today I have a long overdue post for you featuring some gorgeous Nails Inc polishes.

Last year Nails Inc released this collection for AW16 along with their Charcoal infused Gel Effect collection. Now I've used these polishes in lots of nail art looks, but it's taken me until now to swatch them, I'm not sure why as they're incredible.

Precious metals, lustrous foils and iridescent holographic finishes are amongst some of the most beautiful to wear on our tips and Nails Inc has nailed it with this 3 piece.

Kings Cross Road
A bright shiny silver foil, this polish is perfect in 1 coat and has a really pigmented formula. It's also great for stamping.

Old Montague Road
A pinky nude with a glowing golden shimmer, this polish needs between 2-3 coats depending on application for full coverage. It's similar to the Limited Edition Summer Barry M nail paint Golden Sands (review here) but not a dupe.

Primrose Street
This is described as a holographic pink but it's more of a soft pink to green duochrome topper. It has a sheer formula and so requires 3-4 coats to build up, however it won't ever go completely opaque without a huge amount of layers. I love how this changes colour depending on the angle and light.

I decided to try it over some simple plain base colours to see how the effect changes and I have to admit that it's just as gorgeous over all. From left to right - pink, nude, white and black.

I love how the duochrome shift is really visible over the black, but also love the effect over the other colours too. Although it's subtle over white, in real life it looks like you've got pearls for nails!

So there we have it, without a doubt this trio is gorgeous and I love all the colours, however Primrose Street has to be my favourite, that shift is so pretty. What's your favourite?

The Reflectors collection is available from the Nails Inc website and many other associated instore and online stockists priced at £14 each.

  1. Primrose Street is so pretty! I love these kind of sheer chromes for jazzing up other colours. And Kings Cross is just stunning, you can never have too many silver foils in my world haha!

    1. It's def a blinder, it was very difficult to photograph because of my set up too, hence the massive glare xx

  6. Can you do the same for Kings Cross Road like what you did for Primrose Street? I'm curious as to how the silver will change the plain colors.

    1. The silver is opaque and would just cover the colour underneath. It's a gorgeous polish but isn't a topper like Primrose Street xx
