Contains PR Samples

Happy Friday, I hope you've all had a great week. I'm glad it's a weekend and I'm even more so that I don't have much planned, I have a lot of swatching to catch up on.

Today I broke the tip on one of my nails, so I've had to file them down quite a bit and they're taking a little getting used too. However I know that in a week or so they'll be looking a bit more normal.

Another 26 Great Nail Art Ideas challenge has popped up on my planner and today the prompt is one I'm not massively fond on. I really struggled to think of what to do, but luckily I had a delivery of some Naughty Nails Decals recently which came to my rescue.

Naughty Nail Decals are different to the usual water decals as they are printed with waterproof Laser Toner instead of inks and don't come with the usual clear sheet on top of them.

The process to use them is exactly the same though, the only difference I found was the decals were a little thicker than others I've used.

I used Sparklea Nail Polish Hook A Duck as the base, added a layer of Barry M Silver Lights and then used Naughty Nails Marble Decals as the 'bold colour'.

Although I love the finished look, I still feel like something is missing, Maybe I could have added some rhinestones or a 3D item to really complete it. However I wanted to allow these decals to take center stage and left them as they are.

If you're interested in picking up any Naughty Nails decals, you can shop the range here. The marble decals I used are priced at $7.50aus and you can buy them here.
If you love this Sparklea Nail Polish as much as I do, you can shop the Carnival Collection here, with prices starting at £3.50.

The next theme is one I am super excited for, the colours are a tad more 'me'. Until then, make sure you check out all the other 26 GNAI manis in the linkz below.

  1. I love these! When I first saw your picture (without reading anything) I thought you had watermarbled.

    1. Oh my, thank you, I wish I could watermarble! It may be something I need to try again at some point. However it's not a technique I feel I'm missing in my life right now xx
