Primark PS Prism Nail Collection

PR Sample

Happy hump day, I hope you're all having a fab week so far. The sunshine has stuck around, but I'm still snuggling up most evenings with a hot water bottle and a mug of hot chocolate (cream topped of course, I'm not a heathen).

Last week I was sent a gorgeous parcel from Primark which contained the 4 polishes from their new Prism collection.

To say I was excited was an understatement, these are some of the prettiest and most unique of high street polishes I've seen in years. The rest of the Prism collection is super pretty too and contains hair sparkles, pastel palettes and mermaid inspired coloured rhinestones perfect for that glittering festival look.

2 Cute 4 U
This shimmery iridescent topper is packed full of shifting micro glitters that change from green to pink. I wore 2 coats over a white basecoat and loved how mermaid-esque it looked.

Mermaid Splash
This sky blue crelly base has a ton a mini silver and medium gold hex glitters in it. I love this polish and found it best to use thin coats so that the layers could build up. This way the silver glitters appear white and the gold glitters take on a greenish tinge. I used 3 thin coats and added a topcoat to smooth out any bumps.

Sassy Since Birth
Another iridescent topper, however this pearl to pink version is a little less dramatic, but no less beautiful than 2 Cute 4 U. I wore 2 coats over a light pink base.

Sherbet Dip
Possibly the most interesting polish of the lot, this silver to gold iridescent shifting base has mini and medium silver hex glitters. I found the formula of this a tad clunky and although the layers built up beautifully, I couldn't smooth out the finish. I used 3 thin coats on it's own for this swatch.

Wow what a collection! I love the mix of glitter and shimmer and the range in colour. It's hard to pick a favourite because I'm an all round polish lover and think all of these are as gorgeous as each other.

If you're interested in grabbing any of these, you can pick them up in Primark stores nationwide priced at £2 each, but get them quickly because they're limited edition and will no doubt disappear from the shelves soon.

Let me know your fave and if you plan on buying any of these polishes? Primark really are hitting the bullseye when it comes to capsule collections this year, I'm excited to see what's next.

    1. Thanks, it's a gorgeous little collection! 2 Cute 4 U is not really white though as it's just a topper. I wore it over white. I'm sure it'd look amazing over a pale green. I love love love me some Primark xx

  5. Love that blue one! I might even brave Primark tomorrow! Why do companies insist on labeling things as holographic when they aren't?

    1. Haha, it's always worth a little trip to see what they've got. Although I'd pop in early!! I'm not sure about the Holographic thing, lots of companies are doing it xx

  6. These are so pretty! I agree with Jo. It's so annoying when people label things as holographic when they aren't. Show me the rainbow! lol

    1. I know it's very frustrating. It seems to be a word they use for anything iridescent or sparkly. At least we know better!! xx
