You all know how much I love Primark and their nail polishes, a job they've been making very easy this year. Recently I was sent their new Prism collection and honestly thought that would be it for newness. How wrong I was.
I first noticed this Bronze trio a few weeks ago and grabbed it immediately. The bright metallics caught my eye and like a magpie I was mesmerised. Since then I have seen 3 more trios (Neon, Nude and French) which I will be showing over the next couple of weeks.
At first glance the Bronze trio looks remarkably similar to the Precious Metals collection which was released back in March. However the colours in the Bronze trio have a warmer tone to them. The bottles are also slightly different (they are smaller than the precious metals collection), the formulas whiff a tiny bit and they don't have any names. So I made them up!
Wow what a colour, I can only describe it as a ginger metallic, but I feel the name Amber Gold is a tad more proper. I needed 2 coats and found the formula lovely. I think this shade will be gorgeous with a full on tan and bronzed up makeup look. Those with darker skin will also rock this polish, it's truly stunning.
This gorgeous polish is a stunning mix of deep orange and bronze. It's stunning. Again I needed 2 coats for full coverage.
A pale, almost oatmeal gold with a hint of yellow. This polish has quiet a sheer formula and I needed 3 coats for full coverage.
I love this trio and think my fave has to be Amber Gold, it's so bright and different to all other metallics I have seen. If you're interested in this trio, you can pick it up from Primark stores nationwide, priced at £2.50 for the set. Yes you read that correctly, £2.50 for all 3! At this price I can't see these hanging around long so don't wait.
Oh and if you're interested, here's a collage showing you the Precious Metals and the Bronze polishes together to compare the shades.
Let me know your fave and if you think I did a good job with the names. I'd be interested to hear if you also grab yourself one of these trios. I can't wait to show you the rest.
Next up will be the Neon trio and it's possible my fave of the lot.
