26 GNAI - Beach Silhouette

Saturday, 8 July 2017

Today I'm back with another 26 Great Nail Art Ideas post, it seems I missed the last one (that now makes 3), so I'm casually popping it on the massive 'to do' list and will get around to it hopefully before the end of July.

For today I have my Beach Silhouette nails and there was only 1 set of polishes I could possibly use for this prompt - the gorgeous Models Own Aquaproof collection.

I thought that a gradient using Impassable Yellow, Orange Seal, Cerise Stopper and Impervious Pink would look just like a tropical sunset and although my gradient work is a little rusty, I am pleased with how it turned out.

I then freehanded some black palm trees to create a silhouette look and voila. I did think about adding in some beach details like a hammock or an umbrella but decided that less is more.

Don't forget to check out the other gorgeous silhouette manis below and let me know what your favourite polishes are for creating gradients. I think I may have to do a few more soon.

    1. Ahh me too, I'd love to be somewhere tropical. Although to be fair, it's been pretty warm in the uk recently, prob should just invest in a hammock and get boozy xx

  4. Beautiful gradient Vicky, the colours are just perfect! I love using the Models Own Hyper Gels for sponging, they're perfect for gradients due to the thick formula :)
