Glam Polish - Made In Manehatten Collection

PR Sample

Today I have a very exciting post to share with you all. For most of us nail bloggers, there is no conceivable way we could ever afford to buy all the polish that we could dream of owning, let alone have the time to swatch/use it all. Therefore over time we find ourselves developing a longer and longer 'want' list.

One of the brands on my 'want' list has been Glam Polish, and I'm afraid to say it's been on there for years. This amazing company produces some outstanding polishes and so you can imagine how incredibly happy (screaming fan girl ecstatic more like) I was to be contacted and asked to be a guest swatcher for them this month.

I signed up before I even knew what was on it's way to me, and when this pastel, shimmery collection landed on my doorstep just over a week ago, I was over the moon.

The Made In Manehatten collection features 6 shades inspired by My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic (which is the animated series for those wondering). Now thanks to having an adorable niece who loves everything My Little Pony, I have actually watched a few episodes and a couple of the movies. I was also a massive My Little Pony fan when I was little. To be fair none of that would have mattered because this collection is totally swoon worthy and I would have loved it even if it had been inspired by Star Wars (but maybe a little less enthusiastically).

No Second Prances
This polish is a light pastel blue with a subtle pink shimmer. I needed 3 thin coats for full coverage and although I could see the shimmer in real life, I couldn't capture it with my camera.

The Mane Attraction
A soft light pastel lavender with subtle pink shimmer, the shimmer in this is actually a lot stronger than the others. I needed 2/3 thin coats for full coverage, with the same shimmer capture issues (actually this was true for all of them).

Equestria Games
A polish is light pastel lemon with a subtle pink shimmer. Like a lot of yellows the formula needed the 3rd coat to smooth out any thin areas.

Hearts and Hooves
A light pastel pink with subtle pink shimmer. I love this colour and again it needed between 2/3 coats.

Ponyville Confidential
A yummy light pastel peach with subtle pink shimmer. Wow what a colour, this is actually my favourite from the collection. It needed 2 thick coats for full coverage.

The Crystal Empire
This stunning polish contains multiple sizes of shifty iridescent glitter with strong pink shimmer in a clear base. Although I wore this on it's own (2 coats), I've no doubt it would look amazing over all kinds of colours.

I don't really want to sum this collection up, because then it means it's over. I obviously love it and have to say that Ponyville Confidential is my fave (shock horror, not the pink). I also love The Crystal Empire and can't wait to use this as a topper.

If you fancy getting your hooves on this collection, canter quickly over to the Glam Polish website and order asap as it's limited edition. all colours are priced at $12 each.

Let me know your fave from this collection and if you're also a My Little Pony Fan, let me know who you loved. I think there was a pony called Firefly (I remember it had wings) that I loved and also Princess Sparkle.

Finally, thank you so much to Glam Polish for contacting me and allowing me to swatch this collection for them. It's been a real honour and I hope to be lucky enough to repeat it again soon.
