PR Sample

Sometimes the weekends go so quickly, so quickly in fact, that before you know it half a month has past. I don't know what's wrong with me, but at the minute I'm doing things in fits and starts and it seems like everything is suffering.

However I always try and start again, with renewed intentions and determination. So here I am, yet again promising to try again with my blog, with my job, with my life. Wish me luck :)

Today I have a very long overdue collection to show you (as you can see from the colour palette). I was kindly sent these polishes back in August and although I have worn them a lot, I just never got around to swatching them.

All of these dry quickly to a semi matte finish. However for the sake of my sanity, I used a topcoat because I just can't deal with a half matte, half shiny finish in photos, no matter how lovely it is in real life. Oh and this also explains why they all needed 3 thin coats.

Resting Beach Face
This gorgeous turquoise creme is much less blue and much more aqua in real life.

Baes Of The Bay
I'd be tempted to call this a blurple creme. but it does have a strong indigo tinge to it.

Summer Crushin'
This autumnal orange creme is on the cool side for a summer shade, but it is very pretty.

Off Duty
Before I even get started on this, you know I'm gonna love it. A bright, bold magenta creme is always a winner, no matter the season.

Little Red Suit
This bold red creme is the perfect shade for the iconic baywatch swimsuit.

Sun's Out, Bun's Out
No baywatch collection would be complete without a sunshine/sandy yellow creme.

Prior to being sent these, I had tried out the Artistic Gel line before but not their regular polishes. I shouldn't be surprised that these are so good, all the Artistic nail products are incredible (I even have their LED lamp) and the fact they require 3 thin coats is no issue to me. I always end up needing more because of my long nails anyway. I've now got a list as long as my arm of more colours I'd like to get, starting with their new fall 2017 collection Fueled and Furious.

If you're interested in grabbing any of the Baywatch Collection, or any of their other colours, check them out on the Artistic website.

  1. Gorgeous swatches. There isn't a colour I don't like and I love blurple one which is a colour I've been after for a while. I can't buy anything until after Xmas but do you know where you can buy them? as it doesn't look like you can buy them from their website xx

  2. Fun color collection! I think the blurple & the magenta shades are my fave. I know it was a summer release, but they are colors that can be used all year round, especially in nail art. I'm with Zoe...gotta see where to buy some of this brand to give them a try.

  3. Nice sharing! Glad to read your post!
